A strong foundation for Finance, India and you!
Under the hood: What we’ve been building at fuzz
Hello finance geeks 👋
It’s been a while since we launched fuzz. If you are new here and want the “what is fuzz and why does it exist?” primer, we had introduced it a couple of months ago:
For most of you though, since you’ve signed up on fuzz, we’re starting this Substack to help you keep up with everything around finance, money, and markets!
So what were we up to?
One of our goals with fuzz has always been simple: if you ask a finance question, you should get an answer that is grounded, useful, and built for the way finance actually works — with decimal-level accuracy.
That sounds obvious, but it’s not how most generic AI products work.
Ask a large model something like,
“What is the revenue of Reliance Industries for FY26?”
…and it may pull information from across the internet and attempt an answer quickly. But more often than not, you’re accepting approximation as a tradeoff for speed.
That’s where Artham comes in.
Every conversation on fuzz is now powered by Artham under the hood — the intelligence we’ve been building to make finance conversations more reliable, more context-aware, and better suited for money and markets.
The goal is not just to answer faster. It is to answer better.
In fact, this breakthrough was covered by major news publications and even made it to the global stage at Amazon’s tech conference in Las Vegas.

Why this matters
At fuzz, we care deeply about getting the foundations right.
In finance, along with accuracy, a good experience starts with trust, it starts with security. It starts with data privacy.
A lot of tools in the market today are ultimately thin wrappers over large frontier models hosted outside India. That may be fine for casual use cases. But when the conversation involves your private, vulnerable financial context, we do not think that should be the default.
We believe users should know where their data is processed, where it is stored, and what control they have over it.
All your data powering your conversations is processed via our models, hosted on servers in India. If you choose to delete a conversation, it is deleted from our records as well.
We believe this is the bar.
When it comes to financial conversations, strong foundations matter just as much as intelligent answers.
What this means for you
From the outside, fuzz may still feel familiar. But the engine underneath has become much stronger.
So whether you are exploring a stock, a mutual fund, an IPO; following market developments, or asking a deeper finance question, the experience is now built on a stronger foundation than before.
But is there any way to see the engine?
While most platforms try to hide the model underneath, we wish to be as transparent with you as possible.
Starting today, you’ll now see all the fuzz experts behind Artham on the side panel. Hover over a expert and you’ll see how many conversations you’ve had with it.
And if you haven’t tried one yet, we’ve added quick starter prompts to help you explore what each expert can do.
These experts are what make fuzz unique. They are how you interact with Artham, depending on the question you ask. Have a question about an IPO? The IPO Expert will handle it. Need a graph to visualise the data better? The Graph Expert will jump in.
Try it out - you can win the lucky draw! 🎁
On the next blog post, we’ll announce the winner from among the fuzzers who asked the best question.
Eligibility?
You need to have used all the experts available on fuzz.
From there, we’ll choose the question that makes our model think the hardest and dig the deepest for insights.
